Ingunn Trosholmen has 11 years of experience as a local politician, 8 years as deputy Mayor and the last 3 as the Mayor. She is also a part of the International Committee for the Norwegian Labour Party. Before elected as the Mayor, she was an adviser on international questions for the County Council. She has also been the director for The Nansen Center for Peace and Dialogue and has worked facilitating dialogue between groups in war-torn societies. From this fall she was elected deputy chair of The Board of Directors in KLP, Norway`s largest life-insurance company.
